Glamping San Marino
San Marino is the oldest republic in the world, a small independent country on and around Monte Titano, wedged between Emilia-Romagna and the Adriatic coast. The campsite sits on a hill with a view towards the sea, a quarter of an hour from both the old town and the beach. Being higher up, it's more pleasant here in summer than down on the coast.
At Centro Vacanze San Marino, the lodges stand in their own part of the campsite, well spaced apart and with plenty of privacy. The swimming pool has a toddler area, a water slide and a little island with hydromassage. At the Garden Restaurant you eat dishes from the Romagna region on a terrace overlooking the pool, and in the high season there's more than fifty hours of entertainment a week.

DISCOVER THE REGION
San Marino — more than just glamping
Discover what makes the San Marino region so special — from breathtaking nature to rich culture and endless activities.
LOCATION & CLIMATE San Marino is wedged between Emilia-Romagna and the Adriatic coast, on and around Monte Titano. The climate is Mediterranean: around 17 degrees in April, 28 to 29 in July and August, and even in October it still reaches 18 degrees. The campsite sits on a hill with views towards the sea, a fifteen-minute drive from both the old town and the beach. Because you're higher up, it is usually more pleasant in summer than down on the coast.
NATURE Around the campsite the Montefeltro landscape rolls away: green hills with olive groves, vineyards and cypresses, criss-crossed by narrow roads that climb to small villages. Monte Titano rises to 749 metres and offers views as far as the Adriatic Sea. On a clear day you can see the coastline from Rimini to Gabicce from the three towers. Early in the morning, mist often hangs in the valleys below you.
ACTIVITIES The beaches of Riccione and Rimini are twenty kilometres away: wide sandy beaches with beach bars, sunloungers and parasols. Closer by, you can walk from the campsite to the three towers of San Marino, or take the cable car from Borgo Maggiore to the old town. The hills are popular with cyclists, and in the area you can enjoy wine and olive oil tastings with local producers.
CULTURE San Marino is the oldest republic in the world, founded in 301, and its historic centre is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. You walk across the Piazza della Libertà past the Palazzo Pubblico and climb up to the Guaita and Cesta towers. Nearby are the fortress of San Leo on its rocky plateau, the castle of Gradara and medieval Verucchio. Urbino, Ravenna and Bologna are all within an hour.
