LOCATION & CLIMATE Our French destinations are spread across the west and south of France, from Brittany on the Atlantic coast to the Pyrenees on the Spanish border.
NATURE Rugged cliffs in Brittany, river valleys in the Dordogne, sunflower fields in Tarn-et-Garonne and snow-capped peaks in the Pyrenees.

Brittany is the westernmost peninsula of France, with a coastline that alternates between wide sandy beaches and rugged cliffs. The ocean climate keeps summers mild, around 22 degrees in July and August.

The Dordogne is the land of castles, prehistoric caves and river valleys between limestone cliffs. Sarlat and the Lascaux caves are a quarter of an hour away, as are the castles of Beynac and Castelnaud.

The French Pyrenees form the border with Spain, and our campsite sits on the Plateau de Sault, at 1280 metres altitude. From the plateau you look out over the valley towards peaks that sometimes keep their snow all year round.
