General Terms and Conditions

Lodge Holidays BV — Last updated: 1 January 2026

Article 1. General

1.1 These general terms and conditions apply to all services offered by Lodgeholidays BV. This primarily concerns the rental of lodges. By making a reservation, you confirm that you have read and understood our general terms and conditions and agree to them.

Article 2. Reservation

2.1 A reservation can be made online, by phone or by email. After the reservation, you will receive a confirmation from us by email containing an overview of the details reserved.

2.2 The reservation you make is final. A 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to so-called travel contracts. These are the services provided by Lodgeholidays.

2.3 The person making the reservation must be of legal age (18 years or older). Groups of young people are not permitted.

2.4 Should the payment obligations for a reservation not be met (these are set out in the general terms and conditions and stated on the booking confirmation), Lodgeholidays has the right to dissolve the reservation. Any costs arising from this shall be borne by the client.

Article 3. Prices and costs

3.1 The travel price is based on the maximum number of people the accommodation offers sleeping space for. The travel price is the price for the rental of a pitch, with a tent on it, including VAT and electricity costs. Bed linen is included and can be changed weekly for a fee.

3.2 If tourist tax applies, you must pay this on site to the campsite owner.

3.3 Any extras such as packages and meals offered on our site at special prices must also be passed on at the time of booking.

3.4 In consultation with Lodgeholidays, a small additional tent may be placed alongside the rental tent.

Article 4. Invoicing

4.1 After the reservation, you will receive a confirmation of receipt, which also serves as your invoice.

4.2 This invoice shows the price, any additional costs and the total amount per category.

4.3 The invoice states the deposit (30% of the total amount excluding costs payable on site). The remaining amount (70% of the total amount) is stated separately.

Article 5. Payment

5.1 The 30% deposit must be paid within 5 days of the reservation.

5.2 The remaining 70% of the total amount must be paid no later than 6 weeks before arrival.

5.3 For bookings made within 6 weeks of arrival, the full travel price must be paid immediately.

5.4 In the event of late payment, Lodgeholidays has the right, after sending a reminder by email, to cancel the booking, in which case the client shall be held liable for the cancellation.

5.5 In the event of non-payment, the client shall be liable for all judicial and extrajudicial costs and any interest.

Article 6. Cancellation / amendment

6.1 Cancellation of a reservation must be reported to Lodgeholidays by email.

6.2 The following costs apply to a cancellation:

Time of cancellation Costs
Up to 42 days before departure The deposit
42 to 28 days before departure 60% of the travel price
28 days up to the departure date 90% of the travel price

It is advisable to take out cancellation insurance for this.

6.3 Changes, other than to the location and the rental period, can be reported to Lodgeholidays no later than 2 weeks before arrival. No costs are charged for changes.

6.4 A change of accommodation is treated as a cancellation.

Article 7. Liability

7.1 The tenant must treat the accommodation with care. The tenant must leave the accommodation clean (swept clean, rubbish cleared away, washing-up left clean and personal belongings taken with them), intact and complete.

7.2 Lodgeholidays is not liable for damage suffered, loss and/or theft of goods. Nor for injury sustained by the tenant or fellow tenants, regardless of the cause.

7.3 Lodgeholidays is not liable for environmental factors such as noise nuisance, traffic nuisance, odour, water and/or insect nuisance and weather conditions of any kind.

7.4 The tenant is liable for any damage to the accommodation and/or its contents that occurs during the stay. The damage must be reported to the campsite owner, who will determine what steps are to be taken. If the damage is not reported to the campsite owner, Lodgeholidays is entitled to hold the tenant liable for the damage suffered.

7.5 It is not permitted to leave pets alone in a Lodgeholidays tent during your stay.

7.6 The tenant and their guests must abide by the rules that apply on the campsite. This also applies to receiving visitors. Lodgeholidays is not liable if the tenant is required to leave the campsite due to nuisance or disturbance, following a warning from the campsite owner.

7.7 Lodgeholidays is not liable for any obvious errors or inaccuracies on the Lodgeholidays website.

7.8 Lodgeholidays is not liable for repayment of the travel price in the event of force majeure that obliges you to leave your accommodation (for example, in the event of extreme weather conditions, wildfire or an earthquake).
