GUEST REVIEWS
What our guests say
We spent 2 nights at this camping. It is located in a beautiful place, the common areas(shower, toilet), the lake itself is great! (Finally a place where you can jump into the lake.. SO FUN! :) ) We are only started staying in campings, and this camping was our first outside of our home country. The rules for us are too much, but next time we know that we need to read the rules of each camping before booking anything, because there could be surprises... However our vacation here was wonderful despite the owner's attitude. The pitches were strange for us, because we used to stay in campings where you can find some kind of separation between the pitches. Here there is nothing, your neighbour will be your close neighbour. Maybe it is not strange, but for us was a bit lame. I love the idea of the trash-selection, and if we did not know something where to throw away, the staff helped us. We will not come back next time, because we need to use our car, our equipments and tents were created for a car and here this is prohibited to leave the car on the pitch. (Unless it is a caravan, campervan) Good advice for everyone who are planning to come here: read the rules at the website, and if you agree with them you will have a wonderful holiday!
Just got back this week from this fantastic campsite. The pitches are spacious, the facilities are always super clean and the staff are very friendly. We stayed 2 weeks at Les 3 Cantons. When we arrived, most of the guests were Dutch, mostly families with children up to around 14, some up to around 18. Everyone was really relaxed and enjoying the surroundings. The campsite is beautifully laid out, the planting is 'wild' and therefore varied, the pitches are large (especially those along the west side of the campsite where we stayed) and also level. There's a row of trees between all the pitches. This gives some shade everywhere in the afternoon, which was nice since we sometimes had 38 degrees of full sun. The sanitary building is tidy, with 7 washing-up spots, 2 handwashing spots and 1 washing machine (which sometimes meant a bit of a queue for laundry). 2x 3 showers and 2x 3 sinks. There's also a row of toilets, including 1 urinal. Overall the facilities are sufficient, but a bit tight for the number of people, which meant some waiting at peak times. The pool is very beautiful, fairly quiet during the day, busy at the end of the afternoon when everyone wants a quick dip after a day out. Boisterous teenagers throwing balls and doing bombs can make it a bit crowded at times, especially in the shallow end where the younger children play, but we didn't find it unpleasant. Lots to do nearby. From the campsite there's an Adventure centre where you can do various activities for a fee. We ourselves did the 10km canoe trip and the caving tour (definitely recommended, despite the 50 euro per person). Not far from the campsite there's also a treetop adventure course which is great too. Every evening there's also a 'regular' activity on the campsite. A bingo, football tournament, water polo and on Fridays the ghost walk! In the evening it's quiet from 22:00 and completely silent from 23:00, really lovely! The campsite is an absolute must. (PS, you do need to be okay with spiders, as there are an awful lot of ground spiders.) (PS2 for anyone who's read the whole review, there's no annoying rooster.)

We stayed at the camping for 10 nights in September 2025. We went with the Mimosa tiny house for four adults. The house is indeed tiny, but very comfortable and has a very big, covered terrace (we only slept in the house). Note there is only one bedroom and the other bed is a daybed (pull-out sofa) in the living room - this is mentioned in the description, but was not 100% clear for me from the description. The house was clean, the equipment was as described. The Mimosa houses are located in the top part of the village, which gives a lot of privacy (you basically don't see the rest of the camping from your terrace), but requires walking uphill (50meters or so). Due to the location of our house, we were not bothered by the road traffic - this may be the case for the pitches/accomodations located lower (although the road was not very busy at all during our stay there). There's a small shop selling bread and basic food items, but there are plenty of bigger and smaller shops within a 20 min car drive. We tried the pizza on the campsite, it was tasty and good value for money. We didn't use the toilets/showers on the campsite, so can't comment on this. During our stay only the deep pool was open - the water was crystal clear, but the pool is to deep to stand in. It makes it less crowded as people don't "linger" in it for too long, but may be an issue for those with kids or not able to swim. The area is absolutely amazing - a lot of beautiful sights, whether you're into nature or culture. Cote D'Azur and the Alps are also a short drive away, making it a great base for shorter and longer trips. Definitely recommend, we will be coming back!
I don't understand how anyone can say that the welcome isn't a warm one. The staff at the reception were extremely friendly and very helpful. The showers were warm — even hot, in fact. A little turn of the dial and the temperature was somewhat lower. And very clean. Perfectly fine, then. The pitches are also well maintained. What I did find less convenient was having to wear a wristband. After all, this isn't an all-inclusive resort. On top of that, waste separation is very important — I agree with that — but here it is taken rather far. And one can debate exactly what goes where. General waste has nowhere to go. Because there are so many rules posted, I spoke to other guests about it, but they hadn't even noticed them. And that's the thing: the more notices there are, the less you actually look at them. What's more, a great many of the rules still date from the Covid era. I mentioned this at reception. If the intention is that guests abide by those rules, then by all means keep them up — but if you feel they are no longer necessary (I also noticed the cleaning staff simply walking against the designated route), then do remove them all together.

Visited many campsites in many countries, but never seen one that looks this good. Whoever designed this campsite has a real eye for detail!! From the moment you arrive you can see how much attention has gone into the plants, shrubs and ornaments! The pitches are great too, not that standard little patch between hedges — here every pitch is unique! It's also nice that you can still access the site when reception is closed over lunch. All in all, a great choice for a short or long stay!

Booked a stay in the apartment for six people, it was very clean and comfy. Pool was great in the heat, all staff were very friendly especially Andrea! He was great during check in and advised a lovely beach for us all to go too which kept my cousin and his friends occupied. Loved the stay too, will definitely be back!
Brilliant campsite! We had booked a week and were given a lovely pitch with a view of the lake! Since we enjoyed ourselves so much, we booked an extra 4 days. The campsite has a lovely swimming pool, but it is above all the lake that is wonderful. A pleasant temperature, ideal for paddleboarding, and our boys of 14 and 16 loved the diving board. More than enough sun loungers, so no need to reserve one with a towel. The sanitary facilities are excellent and the lawn is well maintained. From the campsite, it is approximately an hour's drive to Venice. The Prosecco route is also a lovely drive. In addition, there are various authentic Italian towns nearby to visit. Do be careful when you are by the lake — make sure you secure the (porch) tent / awning properly, as the wind can pick up considerably. In short, we had a wonderful time and will certainly be back one day.

Really lovely campsite with fun activities that are a bit different from the standard entertainment team. Sporty things but also painting with natural materials. Staff and owners very friendly. Nice things to do nearby. Beautiful surroundings anyway. I'd go back in a heartbeat. My children, aged 7 and 4, thought it was fantastic too.

We really had a wonderful holiday at this beautiful, cosy campsite. The staff are very friendly and always up for a laugh. There's a fun entertainment team. We'd love to come back again, there's still plenty to do here.

Beautiful campsite. We were right by the water, with a view of a lovely Italian village. You can swim perfectly well in the lake. There's also a pool, swimming cap compulsory. Waste is carefully separated, and visitors are required to do the same. On arrival you get three small bins showing what goes where. A great system. Shower and toilet are clean. Washing machine available. Lovely sun terrace with sun loungers and parasols. Restaurant right by the campsite. Villages within cycling and walking distance. All in all, everything in good order. Staff very friendly, helpful. So, recommended.

The campsite was still closed on 2 May. Various accommodation types available to rent, plus various activities to book! It made a lovely impression.

Nice campsite, friendly staff, good food in the restaurant. Just regular 'traffic jams' with arriving and departing guests — the staff could take more action to manage that better.

The place was very nice at the lakeside, the lady was very friendly and helpful as we needed a pitch very late in the day. Nice pool and a lovely view. The tent pitch was more than enough for the two of us with a large tent — it was particularly lovely to have big trees providing good shade for a perfect lie-in in the morning. To those who give negative ratings because of other guests' noise, I would recommend earplugs; we always use them wherever there is a chance of noise — it is not the campsite's fault! Thank you for the flexibility, I would absolutely recommend this campsite!

Real nice, especially for dutch people, the toilets are very clean and well build, many cool animals, would return again
Terraced campsite, beautifully landscaped, small and larger pitches, though fairly steep. We paid 57 euros all-in for three nights with a motorhome and dog. Very reasonable in May, a real hidden gem.

Beautiful campsite! Has everything you need! Showers were cold though, couldn't set the temperature yourself. (Tip: at the toilet block by the pool there's an entrance somewhere on the side to 2 family bathrooms, where you don't have to keep pressing a button and can choose your own temperature.) I think it has 8-10 trampolines, and a LOVELY little lake with a diving board about 3 metres high, plus a pool. I'd recommend the lake more than the pool.
